A Message from CHUE pastor Emmanuel Kim

All glory to God even in the situation we are in today.

I would like to send the following encouragement to our CHMC family.

It comes from Luke 8:22-25, where Jesus calms the storm.  The disciples are afraid and desperate due to the storm and was about to drown, while Jesus is sound asleep (what peace He had in the midst of the storm). The disciples call out to Jesus, He gets up, and calms the sea.  We see that through this story that Jesus is God the Creator and that Jesus is in control. We also see another character of Jesus: He would not wake up to the sound of the storm, waves, and water; however, He wakes up to the sound His Disciples! In the same way, Jesus will move at the sound of our calling to Him. He will listen to our prayers because He cares and loves us.  So keep on praying.; Keep on trusting; and Keep on believing.  He will help us to overcome the circumstance we are in today. God bless you and all CHMC. Soli Deo gloria!
